Assam Public Service Commission invites application for the post  of 345 Assistant Engineer and Junior Engineer vacancy in Public Heath Engineering Department (PHED), Government of Assam.

PHED Recruitment 2023:

 1. Name of Post: Assistant Engineer (Civil/ Mechanical/ Electrical / Chemical)

No of posts: 81 posts

Branch-wise vacancy:

[ Civil: 71 posts, Mechanical: 4 posts, Electrical: 4 posts, Chemical: 2 posts]

Scale of pay: Rs 30000/- to Rs 110000/-, Grade Pay Rs 12700/-

Educational Qualification: Candidates must be a BE/ BTech in respective branch of Engineering from any institute recognised by AICTE.

2. Name of Post:  Junior Engineer (Civil/ Mechanical/ Electrical / Chemical)

No of posts: 264 posts

Branch-wise vacancy:

[ Civil: 212 posts,  Mechanical: 26 posts, Electrical: 13 posts, Chemical: 13 posts]

Scale of pay: Rs 14000/- to Rs 70000/-, Grade Pay Rs 8700/-

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have 3 years Diploma in respective branch of Engineering from any institute recognised by AICTE.

Other Criteria Details:

Age Limit as on 01/01/2023. : The candidates should not be less than 18 years of age and not more than 38 years

Upper Age Relaxation:

For  SC candidates : 5 years

For ST candidates: 5 years

For  OBC/ MOBC candidates: 3 years

For  PwBD candidates: 10 years

Resident-ship:

(i) The candidate must be a permanent resident of Assam.

(ii) The Candidate must produce PRC issued in Assam for educational purpose as a proof of residency along with the application form

Or

(iii) The candidate must produce Employment Exchange Registration certificate in the state of Assam along with the application form .

Application Fee details:

 For General/EWS candidates: Rs. 297.20

For SC/ST/OBC/MOBC candidates: Rs. 197.20

For BPL/ PwBD candidates : Rs. 47.20
