Eligibility
Criteria of Pollution Control Board Assam Recruitment:
Nationality: Candidates must be an Indian Citizen and a
permanent resident of Assam.
Age
Limit as on 1st January, 2023: Candidate should not be
more than 38 years and less than 18 years of age as on 1st January, 2023
(Candidate must be born on or before 01-01-2005 and on or after 01-01-1985)
subject to Govt. notification from time to time.
Upper age Relaxation:
For SC/ ST (P) /
ST (H)candidates : 5 years
For OBC/MOBC candidates
: 3 years
Educational
Qualification:
Assistant Engineer (AE): B.E., B. Tech./ AMIE in Chemical
/ Civil / Environmental/ Mechanical Engineering from a Government recognized
University / Institute.
Environmental Scientist: M.Sc. in Chemical/ Biological/
Life/ Environmental Science from a Government recognized University /
Institute.
Scientific Assistant-III: Minimum HSSLC level with
Chemistry / Biology from a Government recognized Institute.
Assistant Programmer: B.Sc. (IT/Comp. Sc), BCA, B.Sc.
with DOEACC 'A' Level/ PGDCA from a Government recognized University /
Institute.
Assistant Planning and Research Officer: Master degree in
Geography / Economics / Statistics/ Mass Communication from a Government
recognized University / Institute. Reading and writing skills in Assamese are
preferable.
Junior Accountant (JA): B. Com / BBA from a recognized
University with minimum 6 Months Certificate/ Diploma in Computer Applications.
Candidates having M.Com degree shall be preferred.
Administrative Assistant – II (AA-II): Graduate in Any
Discipline with minimum 6 Months Certificate/ Diploma in Computer Applications.
Grade IV: Class X/ HSLC passed from a Government
recognized Institute.
