 DSE Assam Recruitment 2025:

Pay: Rs.14,000/- to Rs. 70,000/- and Grade Pay of Rs. 8,700/- PM (PB-2) 

Educational Qualification:

Graduate/ Post Graduate from recognized University with at least 50% marks in either Graduation or Post Graduation (or its equivalent) and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) (Special Education) recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI), but degrees obtained from off-campus and distance education institution shall not be considered as valid. However, degrees/ diplomas conferred by KKHSOU, IGNOU, IDOL under Gauhati University and Distance Education under Dibrugarh University shall be considered as valid for the purpose of employment.

Small Family Norms: No person having more than two living children on or after 01.01.2021 from a single or multiple partners shall be eligible for appointment as per the Govt. policy on normal Family Norms.

Citizenship: Candidates must be an Indian Citizen as defined in Article 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India and permanent residents of Assam.  

Employment Exchange Registration: The name of the candidate must be registered in an Employment Exchange.

Teachers Eligibility Test cum Recruitment Test: Candidate shall have to appear and qualified in the Teachers Eligibility Test cum Recruitment Test .

Physical fitness: The applicant for the post of Graduate teacher shall be:-

i. of sound health both mentally and physically and free from any organic defect or bodily infirmity which is likely to interfere in the efficient performance of his duties; and
ii. required to undergo medical examination before appointment to the service. 

Age Limit Details :

Age Limit: A candidate must not be less than 18 years of age and not more than 40 years as on 1st January, 2025 .

Age Relaxation: The upper age relaxation will be as follows-

For OBC/MOBC: 3 Years
For ST/SC: 5 Years
For Ex-Servicemen: 2 Years
For PwD: 10 Years

i. Passport Size Photograph.
ii. Scanned Signature.
iii. HSLC Admit Card in support of age.
iv. HSLC, HSSLC, Graduate Degree and Post Graduate Degree Mark-sheet and Pass Certificate.
v. Any other Mark-sheet and Pass Certificate of Higher Education.
vi. Mark-sheet and Certificate of B.Ed. in Special Education.
vii. Caste Certificate issued by the competent authority.
viii. Candidates with disabilities will have to enclose certificates of disabilities issued by Govt. authority/ UDID Card issued by the competent authority.
ix. Certificate of NCC (B & C Category only).
x. Certificate of recognized Sports at National Level representing the State of
Assam.
xi. Certificate of Achievements in fine arts and cultural activities representing the
state officially at National Level.
xii. Certificate of Ex-servicemen issued by the Director, Sainik Welfare Board.
xiii. Work Experience Certificate (if any).
